Love is the warmth of your voice hugging us as you read to us a poetry about cold. You know I love me some poetry gyal. I'm glad your bday was filled with love and travel.

Even though I was born in Canada - my Jamaican blood reminds me every year that dis wicked cold nuh mek it as it seeks to steal my soul with its chill that whips through my bones. teehee

I'd take the heat over the cold any day. The only oppressive heat to me is the fake dry heat from heaters that strangles every piece of moisture from the atmosphere.

Lovely read as always.

Hear! Heat! Heat! 🔥🔥🔥Is what my mind says but climate change is real, so I accept the necessity of winter…begrudgingly.

Your poem about the cold made me feel like I was there experiencing it - so powerful.

Also I'm so jealous you were able to catch that exhibit - The Philadelphia Museum of Art is one of my favorites.

Thanks for reading and sharing some feedback.

The exhibit was great. It was my first time visiting though I’ve been in the green spaces around the museum. I really enjoy the Barnes Foundation as well.

Ugh the Barnes Foundation was a dream - I love it because it’s not as exhaustive as The Museum of Art, also I’m a big Matisse/Renoir fan.
