I’m a certified yoga teacher and have been practicing for hmm 14 years? Me & my fascia are besties on the mat. Outdoor flows are so nice, especially now that spring is here. Love the playlist, we have the same taste! I love some Willow Smith, Palace and Brad stank to flow to as well.

Ayyyyeee! Wassup teach? I completed my 200 RYT in 2021 and taught in a Camden, HS for a bit. I’ve kept a personal practice since 2020. I have to check out Palace and Brad as I am unfamiliar but I really enjoy Willow’s collab with Jahnavi Harrison on their RISE album.

Yes, I practice Hatha and Vinyasa yoga, I started as a teenager (14), my older sister introduced me to it, and that means I’ve been practicing off-and-on (more on than off) for 44 years.

That’s such a beautiful journey. I wish I had the tools yoga provides when I was a teen. Have you always been aware of its connective magic or was it purely physical to you when you first started out?

When I started it was purely curiosity, and I started with Hatha , it wasn’t until I switched to vinyasa (in my early 40s) that the all began to connect (the mental, spiritual, physical, etc) -and the three of us could practice on zoom once a week!

Thank you so much for the feature, I’m honored! Also “DO 4 LOVE” is so good – definitely saving that playlist 😮‍💨

Yes! It played for me yesterday during one of my Peloton post-ride stretches and it was the perfect song to bring me back down

oh my goodness!! Rachel, thank you for amplifying my newsletter.

i hate that i have to refer to ‘em as “news” probably soothing to refer to ‘em as “gist”). Is it just me?

i digress.

thanks for connecting with me, Rachel. Because of people like you, i spend more time on substack notes than on medium in the past few days.

Thank you for writing something enjoyable.

I agree I call our work a handful of things “offerings”, “writing”, “shares”, “pieces”. Those seem more robust than “news” but to a degree because there truly are updates when speaking to our benevolent subscribers sometimes it truly is a newsletter. I don’t let the term stifle my creativity or ruffle my feathers. It’s all language to me.

"it's all language" major key right there.

I open this newsletter because your words always either makes me feel seen, teaches me something, or ushers in feelings that make me think more. And one of my love languages is making playlists or having them made for me so I'm going to for sure go through the playlist like it was curated just for me. I already see some faves!

Thank you so much. I read your work for the same reason. I always feel like I’m reading my own life story. Thanks for sharing ☺️
