Fall doesn’t whisper. It speaks with full confidence.
Especially when yanking the temperature out of the summery autopilot of t-shirt weather. We’re in a time of year that demands attention because, like the colors on the trees, shit can change in an instant.
With that in mind, I’ve been gearing down to enter planning and preparation mode. My sabbatical is only 4(!) weeks away.
But while it’s always so easy to look ahead in fantasy, I wanted today’s offering to anchor us in the liminal space we find ourselves. I’ve gathered images from previous adventures that reflect the shifting hues outside. Think of it as a palette cleanser from the summer hangover you might be nursing.
Enjoy,
RL.

I love the way the photos are in order of color and tone. My favorite part of fall is when the temps get cooler and you can smell fire in the fireplaces when you walk down a street. That doesn't happen here in LA in the actual fall, more around December.
the summer into fall transition is epic in the images. 🫡🫡
