The fall season will always have my heart, but I’m recently beginning to LOVE the spring. It’s something about the regrowth we see in nature every year around this time that inspires and fuels my desire to start over or reinvent something about my journey.

Also…. I love you 🌸🌸🌸🌸

I have a forever love with the summer. Great times with even greater people. Perhaps it’s the nostalgia of the season that holds my corazón captive. 🌸🌸🌸🌸

Summer is pretty great. It's all about consistency. There are so many lessons to learn from our environment.

I love Spring nights. Something about the breeze in the night... hits different.

I maybe saying too much.

I think of your writing, On Spring, natural beauty as a word portrait technician like the late heavy weight, Sugar Ray Robinson, navigating across the ring pounding and bobbing suddenly appropriate for the moment, on one leg during a winter day -- near spring as he would an opponent, roller skating backwards unfurling a knock out (upper cut). In other words, the beauty of your writing strikes me as a technician -- your words, in the garden on a canvas.

This really resonated for me — “So much life I don't want to miss out on.

Would you believe there was a time I did? A time I didn't have the eyes to see the goodness of life itself all around me.” I feel that. Which sort of relates to my answer to your question. My answer about favorite season used to always be fall. I still love fall. I love the leaves changing, the chill in the air, the apple cider donuts, and the sweaters, but I’m noticing that right now the promise of spring may be edging into first place. I wonder about this. It could be that Colorado has a sad excuse for fall. The temperature is all over the place that time of year so it doesn’t always feel fall-y to me. Or at least, not like it did in the Midwest growing up. I also wonder if maybe I liked fall because I wanted to cover myself up more then. I wanted to disappear into something. I still do, in some ways, but I also want to bloom and be out and live and soak it up. 🌸

Whew! You’ve saiiddddd a lot!!! Yes to all the fall favors and traditions, yes to wanting to hide - I know how that feels too. I’ve never been to Colorado in the fall. I’ll have to make time to experience, I have enjoyed the summer for sure. Like you said, we get to bloom and be present in the midst of it all. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful perspective.

I love the Spring too in the north east. I’m in Jersey, where there’s a 30 degree difference between morning and afternoon. Everything seems possible in Spring. New beginnings. Congrats on writing a year! 💕💕 Keep going!

Thanks so much Sadia.

Yes, I agree the north east has wild fluctuations. Mid day you’re hot and by night you need a jacket again 😂

Love your pic here! I’m a big autumn lover. Biased because my birthday is end of September lol. But it’s just so cozy and my kind of change. Wishing you well!

Autumn is really special to me too. Especially after spending it in New England last year. The foliage was next level up there.

Thanks for the well wishes. It is received. 💛
